A 5-year-old boy has died two days after being stabbed near Winton Hills

At approximately 5 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home in the 5200 block of Holland Drive.

Officers at the scene found Artagist Stanford III suffering from a gunshot wound.

Stanford was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. According to the police, he died of his injuries two days later.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating. Information about the alleged suspects has not been released.
