A man has been arrested in connection with the Dunham Park murder investigation

SOUTH FALLS, SD (KELO) — A man was arrested Friday in connection with a Dunham Park homicide investigation.

According to a press release, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, Walter Deshaun Stewart was taken into custody on charges related to the Dunham Park homicide investigation.

A person on parole is accused of shooting a man in the face

Walter Stewart was charged with 1 count of first degree murder, 1 count of attempted first degree murder, and 2 counts of aggravated assault.

He is being held on $1,000,000 cash only bail.

Stewart is a resident of Sioux Falls. More information is expected at a police briefing on Monday.
