  • Kanye West’s former Yeezy collaborator, Murphy Aficionado, has filed a lawsuit against him with 12 causes of action and a demand for a jury trial.

  • The hobbyist claims he was “unlawfully fired” and was not compensated for his work

  • While working with West, Aficionado alleges the rapper made discriminatory statements about the Jewish and Filipino communities and “ordered” Aficionado to stay nearby while West engaged in sexual acts.

Kanye WestFormer Yeezy collaborator Murphy Aficionado is suing the rapper (who legally changed his name to E) and his companies Yeezy LLC and Donda Academy.

He filed 12 complaints against West, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation; and also requires a jury trial.

In a complaint obtained by PEOPLE, Aficionado — who worked as a project manager for West’s company Yeezy for nine months — alleged that he was “wrongfully fired” and was not compensated for his work.

A representative for West did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

He claimed that the West would make anti-Semitic comments, including “Jews got (ex-wife) Kim (Kardashian) and my children.” West reportedly made discriminatory comments about Aficionado’s Filipino heritage and allegedly told him to remove his “ugly” traditional Filipino tattoos, called “Batok.”

West allegedly also asked Aficionado to come to his hotel room where he engaged in sexual activity with his then-girlfriend, Bianca Censori.

The hobbyist claims he started working for West in October 2022, working 50-70 hours each week “and even sleeping in the office a few times,” according to the statement. Then, in February 2023, West allegedly ordered Aficionado to “move (West’s) school, Donda Academy.” The complaint states that Aficionado informed him of the required building permits, but West “became angry and yelled that he would not agree to wait for or use the permits.”

In July 2023, a spokesperson for Donda Academy said the school would “no longer operate”. Shortly after, Aficionado claims that his Yeezy assignments “were canceled and he is no longer welcome in the offices.”

As a result of the termination, the suit alleges that Aficionado suffered economic damages, non-economic damages, punitive damages, malice, oppression, fraud, attorneys’ fees and exhaustion of administrative remedies.

In addition, “Defendants violated these laws by failing to timely provide Plaintiff’s last paycheck and by failing to pay penalties, including back wages, interest, and fees.”

The supporter claims that “almost immediately” after he took the job, West “began to make his proud bigotry and anti-Semitism public” and “preached this dogma almost daily.”

He “often made disparaging remarks about the Jews: “The Jews want to get me. They froze my bank account. The Jews got Kim (Kardashian) and my kids.” West allegedly “responded aggressively,” telling him, “Jews convinced Kim (Kardashian). She has Jewish owners.”

The rapper also commented on the Filipino tradition of Aficionado. West “pointed to (the amateur’s) tattoos, telling him they were ugly and should be removed.”

The aficionado also claims that in November 2022, he was “summoned” to a “work meeting” in West’s room at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. As soon as he arrived, “Aficionado immediately realized that Sensory and Ye had recently had sex.” West then allegedly “ordered Aficionado to come in and sit down” in the hotel room.

Censori tried to close the door to the adjoining bedroom, but Aficionado claims that “You opened the closed door again, fully exposing Censori’s bare chest.” West then allegedly “asked Aficionado what he thought of Candace Owens’ lawyer who just left. Ye added, “I think he is a Jewish spy.”

The complaint continues: “Suddenly and without warning, in the middle of their conversation, Ye rushed into the room where Censori was. As he exited Aficionado, Ye ordered, “Wait right here. DO NOT go out.” West then went to the adjoining bedroom and the pair allegedly had sex.

Ten minutes later, West rejoined Aficionado, allegedly wearing a swastika T-shirt. He asked a fan: “You don’t like my shirt?” Frightened and concerned about his work, Aficionado claims he replied, “It’s definitely unique…”

“Then, randomly and without any prompting, Ye sat down with Aficionado, showing him nude photos of his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, on her phone.”

Later that week, Aficionado says he was asked to return to West’s room. During that meeting, he claims West and a “famous NFL wide receiver” were in towels waiting for a massage. The fan reportedly offered to leave, but West “ordered” him to wait in the room.

The complaint alleges that West then “had sex” with his masseuse. When West returned, the NFL wide receiver went for a massage.

“The fan did his best to focus on his work discussion with Yeh, but remained extremely uncomfortable, especially when the NFL wide receiver could be heard in the background,” the statement said.
