Athina AI, founded by Himanshu Bamoria and Shiv Sakuja, offers an end-to-end platform that helps companies build and control production-grade AI applications.

The platform allows companies to experiment with hints and models, collaborate between technical and non-technical team members, and monitor AI performance in manufacturing. It helps teams measure the accuracy and performance of AI results.

The startup counts several unicorns among its enterprise clients, including Perplexity, Meesho, PhysicsWallah and listed company Doximity. Most paying customers are mid-market companies and enterprises located in the US.

“The majority of this funding amount will go towards product enhancements so that we can meet the growing demands of our customers. As the entire landscape changes and new requirements emerge, we want to improve the product to meet all these requirements,” Bamoria told Inc42.

“Our vision is to help companies build performance-grade AI applications. Right now, we’re more focused on helping people build reliable AI agents,” he added.

The company recently shifted its headquarters from India to San Francisco.

The startup claims to have previously raised an undisclosed amount in an earlier funding round led by Flourish Ventures, GSF India, IndiaMART founder Dinesh Agarwal, Matrimony.com founder Murugavel Janakiraman and Zomato co-founder Mohit Gupta.

The funding comes at a time when AI development tools are in high demand.
