Birmingham police are investigating a double homicide on Princeton Avenue.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (WBRC) – Birmingham police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found inside a car Tuesday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., officers from the Birmingham Police Department’s West Precinct were called to a vehicle with bullet holes on the sidewalk in front of an abandoned home in the 1300 block of Princeton Avenue SW.

The caller reported seeing the vehicle in reverse until it stopped on the sidewalk.

When officers arrived, they found two people inside the vehicle, a man and a woman, with gunshot wounds.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service.

Police say details are limited and no arrests have been made.
