A 20-year-old man died in a road accident in County Sligo – News

A man in his 20s has died following a single vehicle collision in County Sligo.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic accident in Drymin, Tabbercurry, which happened in the early hours of Saturday, October 26.

The single vehicle collision involving a car happened at approximately 3.45am on the R294. The driver of the car, a man (20 years old), received fatal injuries. The local coroner has been notified and arrangements will be made for a post-mortem examination to be carried out. The road is currently being examined by Garda forensic investigators and remains closed with local diversions in place.

Police are calling on all witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have dash cam footage (including dashcam) and were traveling in the area between 2am and 4am are asked to provide this footage for Gardaí to investigate.
