A motorcyclist has died in Mossel Bay

A 22-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash in Mossel Bay.

The deceased has been identified as Amone Botha.

Police spokesman Sergeant Cappy Kapp says preliminary investigations show Botha lost control of her motorcycle on Saturday morning on Louis Fourie Road near Da Nova.

He says she collided with a tree and later died in hospital.

The police are investigating a case of intentional homicide.
