14-year-old Florida boy pleads guilty to beating and sexually assaulting 91-year-old woman – Crime Online

A 14-year-old Florida boy pleaded guilty this week to beating and raping a 91-year-old woman earlier this year.

Jesse Stone initially pleaded not guilty to the charges in August, This is reported by WKMG. On December 19, he should be sentenced as an adult.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s OfficeOn June 9, the victim woke up around midnight to find someone walking through her home.

“In a brutal act of violence, the suspect was beaten and sexually assaulted,” the sheriff’s office said.

After his arrest, Stone confessed to the crimes in an interview with a detective.

According to WKMG, the victim told detectives that the suspect “rushed” her and punched her in the face before fleeing the scene. That same day, while detectives were investigating, Stone approached detectives canvassing the area and told them a neighbor had “found something” on surveillance video. Investigators watched the video and saw a “figure” that looked like a boy.

A week later, Stone was arrested based on DNA and surveillance video.
