New Delhi. Four teenagers allegedly killed a 15-year-old boy for molesting a girl in northwest Delhi’s Subhash Place area, police said on Saturday.

All suspects, three of whom are minors, were detained.

After prolonged interrogation, they confessed their involvement in the murder and said that Jitender wanted to befriend a girl from Shakurpur and that he had been stalking her daily, another officer said. The girl was the sister of a friend of the accused.

On November 8, the four accused threatened Jeetender with dire consequences if he continued to approach the girl. “At the same time, a fight broke out between them, and Nitish received a serious wound in the head, from which he died,” he said.

The officer said further efforts are being made to check if they are involved in any other case.
