How to help a family affected by a deadly fire in southwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5). Four bodies have been recovered from a deadly fire in southwest Las Vegas, and two people are in the hospital.

The fire started early Thursday morning near Shelborne and Jones. Firefighters arrived at a three-story building with fire come from the second and third floors.

The heat pushed the firefighters out and delayed the search for victims.

The fire near Windmill and Torrey Pines started early Thursday morning.

At 4:22 a.m. that day, rescuers extinguished the fire. The bodies were found shortly after 6 p.m.

Clark County said Las Vegas Valley residents have asked how they can help.

The Southern Nevada Firefighters Foundation is accepting donations for the family through November.

Clark County says Friday through November 24 is 100% donations here will go to the families of the victims.

Clark County says the cause of the fire is undetermined and the victims are still under investigation.

The Firefighters Foundation of Southern Nevada is comprised of active fire department personnel who provide assistance to victims of fires and disasters.
