Apply for 5647 Apprentice Posts at nfr.indianrailways.gov.in

North-Eastern Border Railway (NRF) accepts online applications for Apprenticeships under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website nfr.indianrailways.gov.in until December 3, 2024.

The purpose of this promotion is to hire students for 5,647 positions.

The selection process

  • Students will be selected based on the positions of the unit, professions and community. The merit list for each division will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation and ITI marks of the major in which one intends to study. The final panel will be based on the average matriculation and ITI scores.
  • Final merit lists will be prepared for units, trade and community according to the number of slots in descending order of marks percentage

Eligibility criteria

Age limit: As of December 3, candidates aged 15 to 24 can apply for positions.

Educational qualification: Candidates must complete Matriculation (10th Class) with 50% aggregate marks. Candidates should have ITI certificate in relevant field from a recognized institution.

Candidates applying for the post of Pathology and Radiology Laboratory Assistant should have 12th class qualification in Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with requisite ITI certification.

  2. On the main page, go to the general information tab
  3. Click on GHY Railway Recruitment Cell
  4. Click on the program link
  5. Fill in the required details and pay the application fee (if required)
  6. Save the program and print it for future use

Application fee

Candidates have to pay 100 rupees as admission fee. SC, ST, PwBD, EBC and women candidates are exempted from fee.
