A man has been killed in a shooting at 10th and Lacey Boulevard in Hanford

HANFORD, Calif. (FOX26) — A man died after being hit by a car in Hanford on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Lacey Boulevard.

The driver of the white sedan was waiting to turn when someone from another car drove up and fired several shots into his car.

The 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are talking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV cameras in the area.

The intersection will remain closed while detectives gather evidence.
