Residents of Alex demand to close the doors of spa shops

JOHANNESBURG. Alexandra residents are outraged after an 11-year-old boy died from what was believed to be food poisoning.

Spaza shops run by foreign nationals across the town reported intimidation on Wednesday with demands to close the shops.

In some parts of the country, children continue to die from food poisoning.

In the afternoon, the South African Police Service was on the scene to control the situation.
