Cold Lake dog killed, white truck wanted

RCMP are searching for a white truck believed to be involved in the shooting and killing of a pet dog in Cold Lake.

According to the RCMP, the resident was inside his home on Oct. 23 when they heard multiple gunshots near the home around 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.

Later, residents found their dog dead.

Mounties are looking for a truck that was seen in the area shortly after the shots were fired.

This is described as:

• A newer model white four-door Ram pickup;
• No cover or canopy on the box; and
• Small gray logo about eight inches in size on the driver and passenger doors.
