Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Tips To Survive (and Thrive) In Multiplayer

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Tips To Survive (and Thrive) In Multiplayer

The new year of Call of Duty has arrived. Black Ops 6 launches with 16 all-new multiplayer maps, 33 unlockable and level-up weapons, and Treyarch’s new movement system. If you’re a new or returning player, this year’s multiplayer might feel a bit overwhelming due to the major movement changes. Here we provide some top tips to help you win in all game modes of Black Ops 6.

Practice your full range of motion skills

Black Ops 6 may be a ground-based game, but it’s the most advanced movement system since the jetpack era of Call of Duty. Fortunately, you can always take a tutorial (found in the multiplayer menu) to learn the basics of using omnidirectional movement, and to continue practicing and improving your skills.

Customize your settings

Black Ops 6 has more customization and special features than Call of Duty. This includes the game’s new intelligent motion customization system. These are optional in-game options, but they allow you to customize many basic movements, such as enabling tactical sprint assist options and removing sprint delay, reducing the number of button presses required to perform certain actions. This makes movement even faster and smoother, but it also means less stress on the joysticks, so it should be easier on your hands.

Also, some of Black Ops 6’s default visual settings are not suitable for multiplayer. Turning off things like motion blur, film grain, and depth of field will greatly improve visibility.

There are special features for those with tinnitus, hearing loss, visual impairments and even Arachnophobia setting to change arachnid enemies in zombie mode.

If you’re on console, we’ve got it recommended settings guide to get the most out of Black Ops 6 on PlayStation or Xbox consoles.

Listen and communicate

You’ll want to use a headset whenever possible. The headset provides better audio quality for better map awareness, allowing you to better hear enemy footsteps and pinpoint their location.

A headset with a microphone is recommended for communicating with your teammates, especially when you’re playing in target modes. However, if you don’t want to chat with others online, Call of Duty has a decent ping system with the D-pad. This allows you to ping enemies and important locations on the map to provide your team with basic information.

party

Even long-time Call of Duty players can have trouble making it to victory, especially if no one is playing the objective and providing information. Try to party with at least one or two friends to give yourself a better chance of winning matches, or at least have a better time catching fire with your friends.

Create your own download

In Black Ops 6, weapon customization is easier than ever. Now, as you level up and unlock your attachments, you’ll be able to customize weapon builds that will persist across all modes. Treyarch calls these “Global Weapon Assemblies.”

This means that your favorite multiplayer weapon builds will be available for use in Zombies and Warzone (once Black Ops 6 is integrated with Battle Royale in Season 1), without having to rework those weapons for other modes.

Here are some of them recommended weapon builds to start Black Ops 6 multiplayer. you can find recommendations for bonuses and wildcards here.

Choose your results wisely

Unlike the last two years, Black Ops 6 only features achievement streaks, not kill streaks. This means that you are not punished for dying, but rewarded for being a team player. You get points for kills, but you’re also rewarded for useful actions like capturing and defending objective points, calling in UAVs, and using support equipment.

If you’re a hard-to-kill player, or if you’re just looking to level up a little faster, you can earn quite a bit of points and XP by using non-lethal streaks like UAV, Anti-UAVand HARP(Extended band UAV).

Also, the Chopper Gunner and Dreadnought death streaks can be a lot of fun if you’re a more aggressive player and into killing.

Increase your XP

Black Ops 6 brings back the classic prestige system, and there are tons of cool rewards you can unlock by leveling up and reaching different prestige milestones. This includes really nice operator skins, business cards, emblems, and more. you can find full details on player development and the prestige system here.

If you want to quickly level up and gain prestige, be sure to play objective modes. Team Deathmatch won’t offer you as much experience as playing Capture the Flag or even Kill Confirmed.

Support streaks also earn you a fair amount of XP. This includes the use of UAVs, counter-UAVs and HARP (Advanced UAV) lanes. Equipping the Dispatcher and Benroll perks will help you earn even more of these bars to maximize your XP experience.
