Murder suspect arrested 26 years later: Phoenix police

PHOENIX – Phoenix police said detectives have made an arrest in a slaying that happened more than a quarter of a century ago.

In a statement, a Phoenix police spokesman said they have arrested 58-year-old Javier Lorenzano-Nunez in connection with the July 1998 murder of Sarah Jane Carr.
