Police say the principal was charged after he served the teenage girls beer

KENTON COUNTY, Kentucky (WXIX/Gray News ) – A Kentucky high school principal has been charged after a video showed him drinking and serving alcohol to two students, according to the Kenton County Police Department.

Anthony Procaccino, 50, the principal of Scott High School, is shown in the video on New Year’s Eve 2023 holding a beer bong while two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, drink alcohol from it, the police department said.

In the video, the man, identified by police as Procaccino, can be seen in the room with a beer bong and cans of Truly sitting on a table.

Police said the video was taken at Procaccino’s home.

On New Year’s Eve 2023, the Kenton County Sheriff’s Department said Procaccino was the principal at Whites Tower Elementary School.

The investigation into the incident began after police said they were contacted by the mother of one of the teenagers in the video over the weekend of October 19-20.

“It must not be the first time,” said the mother.

Dashcam video was obtained of a Kenton County police officer interviewing the mother.

The video has been blurred to protect the mother’s identity, and her voice has also been changed.

In the video, she tells a police officer that she is worried her child will face retaliation because her mother called the police.

The girls in the video are blurred because they are minors.

“He is a grown man in a powerful position. You’re 15 *beep* years old, you can’t convince a man,” said the mother.

The mother also expressed concern over the revealing clothing of the teenage girls in the video with the principal.

A representative for Kenton County Schools referred WXIX to its initial statement on the matter earlier this week.

October 21 Kenton County School District A spokeswoman, Jessica Dykes, said they were aware of the investigation.

“It’s a personnel matter,” she said Oct. 21, “and Cody Wolf, assistant principal at Scott Middle School, has been appointed as the interim principal at this time.”
