1 dead, 3 injured in shooting in Puyallup

A man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in Puyallup early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to a shooting call near 152nd Street E and 66th Avenue E at 12:41 p.m. They checked the area, but at first they could not find the place where the shooting happened. It was later determined that the shooting happened at 152nd Street E and 58th Avenue E.

Another person called the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) and reported that at the intersection of 152nd St. E and 66th Ave E the car went into a ditch.

A man with a gunshot wound was discovered when deputies went to the scene of the accident.

Authorities said he was conscious and breathing when he was found. He was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, three other youths arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds, PCSO said.

The shot 23-year-old man died of his injuries in the hospital.

At this time, deputies said they do not have a description of the suspect.
