9 illegal colonies, broken roads in DKPD

Gurgaon: DTCP destroyed nine unauthorized colonies during demolition in Sultanpur and Farrukhnagar villages on Monday. The operation under the jurisdiction of Farrukhnagar police station was conducted to stop illegal structures, road networks and other unauthorized buildings.
The worst destruction occurred in Sultanpur, where three colonies spread over 33 acres were completely dismantled.
Authorities destroyed 10 farmhouses, five boundary walls and the entire network of bituminous roads in the area.
In Khurrampur village, officials destroyed the road network in an unauthorized settlement of approximately 3 hectares. Three illegal colonies in Farrukhnagar, covering about 12 acres, were dismantled.
Dismantling involved the dismantling of one service station, two unfinished buildings and the entire road network in the colonies. These structures were reportedly built without the necessary permits, prompting the authorities to take action.
In Mubarakpur, two unauthorized colonies covering approximately 9.5 acres were cleared during which the unfinished building and road network were removed.
The operation was observed by Duty Judge Anish Grover, ATP O/o DTP(E), Gurgaon along with other officials including DTP (E) Manisha Yadav, JE Naveen and support staff. During the trip, the officials addressed the residents, advised them not to invest in unauthorized colonies and urged them to check the land status with the Department of Town Development (DTP) before buying any property.
This demolition drive aims to prevent illegal development on the land and ensure that urban expansion meets legal planning and development standards.
