Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Citadel: Honey Bunny: ‘I vowed to challenge myself in every role’

Ahead of her appearance in Citadel: Honey Rabbit, Samantha Ruth Prabhu showed what this project means to her personally and professionally.
Returning to the silver screen after a long hiatus, Samantha will play a multi-layered role in this international original series hosted by Raj & DK. The actress will star together with Varun Dhawan in series
Samantha recently hosted an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram where she shared insights about her life and discussed what she needed to prepare for her character on the show.
When asked how she feels about the role, Samantha said that she always pushes herself to take on bigger challenges. “I promised myself that I would challenge every role I play. Each challenge is more difficult than the previous one,” she shared.
Acknowledging her past failures, she showed humility by admitting her mistakes and learning from them. “It didn’t really work out, and I accept the failure. I accept that I may not have done my best in the last few films,” she stated.
Even amid these reflections, Samantha is proud of Citadel: Honey Bunny even before its release. She described the role as the most challenging, “most layered, complex and challenging role I’ve ever played”.
Coming to OTT on November 7th, Citadel: Honey Bunny promises to be an exciting blend of action, espionage and emotional depth, a long-awaited addition to the global Citadel franchise.
