An undercover journalist who visited Magaluf beach as a “drunk” undercover party girl has explained why she called off one particular part of the operation after a man was caught on video saying “let’s go for it”.

Ellie Flynn, a journalist who has produced several undercover documentaries, has created a new documentary called Undercover Magaluf: Predators and Parties.

The Channel 4 documentary is a shocking look at the prevalence of sexual harassment and violence in Magaluf.

As part of the documentary, they organized a survey of young people who visited the island, known for its party culture.

Shockingly, almost a quarter of those surveyed said they had been sexually assaulted.

Horrifying video of a man who finds her “useless” and says “let’s go”

One particular clip from the documentary went viral this week.

Flynn traveled the Magaluf strip and beach throughout her time there pretending to be “drunk”taking pictures of how men will behave when they find a drunk woman.

In the video in question, she was clearly “drunk” sitting on a sun lounger on the beach, while several men approached her.

A man walks up to her and tells her that this is his “last chance” and then says, “Do you want a little kiss?”

One in particular turns to his friend and says, “Let’s do it,” after being told she’s “totally useless.”

In the video, Flynn describes why she had to call the undercover agency ahead of time, and security came to take her away from the situation.

In the documentary, Flynn stated that although she was aware of the first two men who approached her, when a third from the same group approached her to speak to her, she was shocked not realizing he was there.

Why was the special operation curtailed

In an exclusive interview with LADbible, she said of the clip: “I was really, really impressed because I couldn’t see where the first two went.

“I didn’t know if they were after me. I didn’t know if they were all surrounding me. It’s very, very dark. Nothing is visible on that beach.

“There’s no light there, you know, there’s no light there. Suddenly it just seemed to me that I was outnumbered.”

She went on to say that it was the scariest experience of the trip, where she was repeatedly sexually harassed.

“Even though I have security, even though I have a whole team around me, to feel that there are potentially three men around you working together, you feel so vulnerable and it’s really, really scary.

“That’s why I, you know, got up and canceled it right away.”

Where were Ellie’s red lines during filming

Later in an interview, Flynn stated that she discussed her undercover “red lines” at length with the crew, and that this included anyone touching her in a situation where she could not escape, or if she was pinned against any what a point

If any of these were crossed, security, watching from afar, intervened immediately

Other than that, it was completely up to her, using cues like a sudden tap to tell security she wanted them to intervene.

While it was difficult for security services to ignore the instinct to intervene, she said it was important “to be sure what people’s intentions are”.

She said: “At the end of the day I had to decide where I felt comfortable and where I felt the line had been crossed or where I wanted things to end, so on the last day the cue was just for me to get up.

“If I got up at all, I had a word to say, if I couldn’t get up, and that’s what I did, as soon as I, as soon as I couldn’t see where the other two men were and I didn’t know how many them around me, I just stood up.”
