The second season of The Old Man is coming soon in the UK, but when exactly can viewers expect it on Disney+?

The FX and Disney+ thriller The Old Man is back for another round, continuing the unexpected cliffhanger of the first season, when US intelligence began negotiating with Afghan warlord Faraz Hamzad (played by Navid Neghaban).

With Dan Chase still eluding capture, there’s a lot to look forward to in the upcoming season of this award-winning drama.

Old season 2 release date

The second season of The Old Man will be available in the UK on Wednesday 6 November exclusively on Disney+.

It’s been more than two years since the first season aired, and American fans have already enjoyed the second installment in September on FX.

The cast of the TV series Old Season 2

Jeff Bridges, known for his roles in The Big Lebowski, Crazy Heart, Shortbread and Real Courage, returns as ex-CIA agent Dan Chase.

He is joined by an impressive cast including John Lithgow of Dexter and Terms of Endearment as former FBI Assistant Director Harold Harper, Amy Brennenman of Private Practice and The Leftovers as Zoe MacDonald and Alia Shawkat of “Search Party” as Emily Chase.

They are joined once again by 24 and Homeland actor Naveed Negaban as Faraz Hamzad and The Wire’s Gbeng Akinnagbe as Julian Carson.

Ozark’s Janet McTeer, who plays Harper’s ex-wife Marion, and “Killer Women”‘s Jacqueline Antaramian, who portrays Hamzad’s sister and counselor Khadijah, are the latest additions to The Old Man.

Old season 2 number of episodes

The second season of “The Old Man” will consist of eight episodes, which is one more than the previous one.

While new episodes aired weekly on FX in the US, the full series will be available on Disney+ from its original launch date.

However, there is still no confirmation about the continuation of the series after the second season.

The second season of “The Old Man” will premiere on Wednesday, November 6, on Disney+.
