Summer encounters a strange man and a deadly situation unfolds on Coronation Street Soap

Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) continues to be terribly worried about dad Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) in Coronation Street as he spirals as a result Paul Foreman(Peter Ashe) death.

Paul died in September after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Despite the fact that he knew that MND would take his husband’s life, grief hit Billy hard – and it is not getting any easier for him yet.

In the following episodes ITV dear, Lito returns home and finds a strange man in the apartment.

She’s on edge, and even more so when Billy admits that he invited the man, Wayne, back after meeting him at a junkie group.

During the week, a depressed Billy tells Summer that he’s not sure he can face it celebration at the pub today.

Then he knocks back the whiskey and goes there.

As everyone watches Paul’s ashes being thrown, the screen suddenly goes blank. Then it becomes obvious that a drunk and emotional Billy pulled the conductor from the laptop.

Completely stunned, he declares the event a farce, then admits that he made a pass at Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pearce) after Paul’s funeral.

After that, Billy leaves the pub and goes off on his own. After drinking more booze, he finds himself sitting on a crate behind the factory. Drunk and cold, Billy closes his eyes after listening to Paul’s old voice clips.

Finding him frozen to the core, Bernie does everything he can to help Billie – but has she arrived in time?
