A state police vehicle crashes into another vehicle and a tree during a chase

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK. A New York State Police vehicle crashed into another vehicle and then into a tree during a pursuit on the southwest side of the city on Sunday.

State police say a trooper was driving on Thurston Road in pursuit of a vehicle with a stolen license plate when the trooper crashed into a vehicle traveling on Chili Avenue. The impact caused the serviceman’s car to crash into a tree. A third car was also involved in the accident.

The car pursued by the police officer fled the scene. The police officer and the person in the second car were taken to the hospital. No one was injured in the third car. The soldier received minor injuries, and the person in the second car complained of pain.
