ForbesToday’s NYT Connections Clue and Answers for Sunday, November 3

Hello everyone! Congratulations on the start of the new week. I hope you are well rested and ready to go. I’m sure nothing major will happen in the world for the next few days to worry about!

Today NYT Connections clues and answers for Monday, November 4, coming soon.

How to play Connections

Connections is free, popular New York Times daily word game Every day at midnight you get a new puzzle. You can play on NYT website or the Games app.

You are offered a grid of 16 words. Your task is to divide them into four groups of four, finding out the connections between them. Groups can consist of clickable items, study participants’ names, or words preceded by a body part.

There is only one solution to each puzzle, and you need to be careful when dealing with words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix up the words to maybe help you see the connections between them.

Each group is marked with a color. The yellow group is usually the easiest to identify, the blue and green are in the middle, and the purple group is usually the hardest. The purple group often includes wordplay.

Choose four words that you think go together and click submit. If you guess wrong, you lose a life. If you are close to making the correct group, you may see a message saying that you have one word left to make the correct group, but you will still need to decide which word to swap.

If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with some tips, and if you’re really struggling, today’s Connections answers As with Wordle and other similar games, it’s easy to share results with friends on social networks and group chats.

If you have NYT Full access or game subscription, you can access to Connections archive. This includes all previous games Connectionsso you can go back and play any of the ones you missed.

Apart from the first 60 games or so, you will be able to find my tips for each grid via Google if you need them! Simply click here and add the date of the game for which you need hints or answers to the search query.

This is your last warning!

Today Connections answers…

  • Yellow group — equipment (FURNISHING, OPERATION, PROVISIONS, STOCK)
  • Green group — individuality (BEING, CHARACTER, EGO, I)
  • Blue group — furniture (DRESSER, CONSOLE, TUM, CABINET)
  • Purple group – words with removed apostrophes (CANT, ID, SHELL, WERE)

A stupid mistake prevented me from having a perfect game, but my winning streak is up to eight. Here’s how I did:

“CANT” was the perfect deal for the purples, so my eyes darted around the grid for three other words that would qualify, and I submitted them through gritted teeth. Since identification (the “I would” rather than the impulsive part of our psyche) was out of the equation, the greens were direct.

Then I could see the blues, but I accidentally guessed CONSOLE, WARDROBE, VANITY and OUTFIT. Breath. I corrected my mistake and then got the yellows for the win.

That’s all for today Connections hints and answers. Be sure to check it out my blog for hints and solutions for Tuesday’s game if you need them.

PS I am trying to drink more water (I bought a smart water bottle for this). I also try to avoid tea or coffee for the first two hours I’m awake. So I’m looking for something different to kick start my day and a loud song that gets me moving seems to do the trick. Here is a favorite of them:
