Man Faces OWI Murder After I-90/94 Crash Kills Worker

A man has been arrested on suspicion of OWI homicide after a worker was killed in a crash Friday in a construction zone on Interstate 90/94.

According to Monroe County Sheriff Wesley Revels, an arrested man and his passenger were also injured in the crash around 9:30 p.m. Friday near mile marker 46 west of Oakdale.

The initial investigation determined that a 2002 Dodge Ram driven by 25-year-old Isaac Morales Jr. was eastbound in a construction zone when he rear-ended a semi, lost control and collided with a paver , which was managed by builder Andrew Skupnewitz, 35 years old. , who was pronounced dead at the scene.
