A man’s body was found in a north Phoenix park

PHOENIX (AZ Family) — A homicide investigation is underway after a man’s body was found in a north Phoenix park early Saturday morning.

According to Phoenix Police, officers were called to Cave Creek Park – Larkspur, near 23rd Avenue and Cactus Road, for a report of an injured person. When the police arrived, they were led to the man’s remains.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers found “suspicious injuries” on the man’s body. Investigators are establishing the identity of the victim and determining his injuries.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Phoenix police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS if they wish to remain anonymous.
