A 21-year-old man was found dead in the Swan River

A homicide investigation is ongoing after a man was found dead in Legion Park on Friday.

At approximately 11 p.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man and found a 21-year-old Brandon man with apparent injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances of his death are classified as intentional homicide.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
