Israeli Or. Report claims it took four minutes to capture Hezbollah official – Israel News

About 20 Israeli commandos, dressed in Lebanese security uniforms, took part in the capture of senior Hezbollah official Emad Fadel Amhaz in Lebanon on Saturday, a Lebanese newspaper linked to Hezbollah Al-Akhbar reported on Sunday.

The report claimed that Lebanese civilians escorted Israeli forces to the apartment from which Amhaz was taken.

According to the report, Lebanese security services found ten SIM cards, a phone and a foreign passport in Amkhaz’s apartment.

Israeli forces were also able to remotely delete footage from surveillance cameras in the area, the report claimed.

Shayetet 13 operates in Lebanon

On Saturday, Army Radio cited an Israeli official as confirming Shaitet 13 commandos landed in the coastal city of Batroun in northern Lebanon and captured Amkhaz.

The Lebanese city is located approximately 140 kilometers from the Israeli coast and 55 kilometers north of Beirut.
