The upcoming all-electric Creta will be very similar to its ICE-powered counterpart, especially after the recent major facelift in January this year. The electric version inherits the same front fascia that includes a distinctive jewel-style grille and a split lighting system with twin LED projector headlamps and twin LED DRLs. The side profile and rear end are also expected to mirror the design of the current Creta. However, the electric model will be distinguished by unique two-tone machined 17-inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai Creta EV: Interior and characteristics

Recent spy shots have given a glimpse into the interior of the future Creta EV. The cabin layout appears to be largely identical to its ICE sibling. It is expected to feature a dual-screen display that includes a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

However, the noticeable difference is the drive selector, which is conveniently mounted on the steering column. While most of the dashboard remains hidden, further details will only be revealed once a clearer view is available.

Hyundai Creta EV: Expected power plant

Hyundai remained tight-lipped on specific battery details for the Creta EV. However, it is expected to use a 45 kWh battery similar to the base model Kona EV.
