Keith Connor can’t watch this Heartstopper Season 3 scene

Keith Connor showed one scene in Heartstopper that it’s hard for him to watch because he’s “not very good” at it.

Talking to Teenage fashionalongside Rachel Zegler, with whom he is currently starring in the latest Broadway production Romeo and Julietthe actor covered the stage in the third season Heartstopper it was “difficult” for him to shoot – and to watch.

The scene in the second episode, where Connor’s character Nick Nelson confides in his Aunt Diana, who he plays Mission impossible star Hayley Atwell. He admits he’s worried about Charlie’s boyfriend, who shows up signs of an eating disorder and increasingly struggles with his mental health.

Nick and Diane are on a family beach vacation in this fan-favorite scene from the fourth volume of Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series that inspired the teen drama.

It originally featured Nick’s mother Sarah, played by Olivia Coleman in the series. But the busy schedule of actresses meant she could not appear in the third seasonand the scene had to be rewritten.

Connor expressed surprise when a Teen Vogue interviewer told him the scene was being shared on social media. He doesn’t spend much time on the Internet.

“Hayley really did a great job in that scene,” he said. “That scene was difficult to shoot because we had an hour to shoot it and it’s not short. To be honest, I was really nervous about it… but I’m glad people are enjoying it.”

He went on to say he had a hard time watching the scene when the third season hit Netflix earlier this month, admitting: “I tried to watch it and I was like, ‘I’m not very good at this.’

Speaking to PinkNews ahead of the release of the third season, Connor recounted an episode in which was his “favorite” for filming.

“There were times when we were exhausted and going through the motions. But it’s been a really great shooting season – especially episode fourit was amazing,” he said. “It’s my favorite.”

The action of the fourth episode unfolds after the death of Charlie admitted to a psychiatric hospital for the treatment of anorexia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Nick is forced to continue his daily life without him and ends up breaking down at a party in the arms of his friend Tao.
