Jason Kelce threw a man’s phone after Travis Kelce called a profanity

NFL fans and Pennsylvanians were shocked this weekend after former Eagles star and current commentator Jason Kelce cracked during a heated encounter during Saturday morning’s Ohio State-Penn State game in Happy Valley.

Known for his no-nonsense attitude both on and off the field, Jason’s temper snapped after an offensive comment about his brother, the Kansas City Chiefs star. Travis Kelcegrew into a fiery moment caught on camera.

A crowd of fans initially followed Jason Kelce, cheering him on and even asking him to punch him, but the mood soured when someone in the crowd hurled an anti-gay slur aimed at Travis Kelce and his relationship with the pop star. Taylor Swift.

Footage circulating online shows Jason stopping dead in his tracks, visibly angry, and confronting a man standing next to him. Moments later, he grabbed the man’s phone and threw it to the ground with force, where it made a loud noise before he dashed away.

One social media user who shared the clip on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “I love it. Jason Kelce just stood up for normal men against “idiots who have become too comfortable saying ridiculous shit” people who can really rock their crowd, good for him.”

While the offensive insult clearly provoked Jason, some questions remain as to whether he targeted the right person.

No footage has emerged that clearly identifies who in the crowd shouted the abuse, and it’s unclear whether Jason accidentally grabbed the wrong person’s phone. However, an additional shot shows the man arguing with Jason just before the incident, although it is unclear if he was responsible for the initial insult.

After watching video of the incident, many fans of the Kelsey brothers (and Taylor Swift) praised the retired NFL player for taking a stand.
