A woman doctor at a private hospital in Kolkata filed a police complaint on Saturday, accusing the app’s biker of sending her pornographic videos after she canceled her booking because he was too late, an officer said.

According to him, the accused was castigated by various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for sexual harassment, outraging the modesty of a woman and criminal intimidation.

A doctor associated with a private medical facility in the southern part of Jadavpur city ordered the bike with the app at 8 pm from the hospital.

Initial investigations revealed that the accused biker called the doctor at least 17 times and sent her sexually explicit content on WhatsApp after she canceled her booking, the officer said.

The driver also allegedly threatened her with dire consequences.

“The doctor first lodged an electronic complaint with the Commissioner of Police and Joint CP Crime. She also sent an email to the cyber cell before lodging a complaint at the Purba Jadavpur police station,” said the officer.
