Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (popularly known as BSNL) has introduced an economical prepaid recharge plan for its loyal customers. The new plan aims to provide millions of users with high value at a very low price. The plan is priced at Rs 1,198 and the average daily cost is just under Rs 3.50. While many private telecom players are increasing their plan prices, BSNL, on the other hand, is taking a different path by offering budget options to attract and retain more users.

BSNL’s new recharge plan, which is priced at Rs 1,198, offers a validity of 365 days and is ideal for users using BSNL as a secondary SIM card.

Under this plan, users pay around Rs 100 per month. Additionally, subscribers get 300 free minutes every month on any network available in India. In addition, it offers 3GB high-speed 3G/4G data and 30 free SMS per month.

In addition, the plan includes free national roaming, which ensures that users will not be charged for incoming calls while traveling in India.

Price reduction on existing annual plan

Along with the new launch, BSNL has slashed the price of yet another 365-day plan. The plan was initially available at Rs 1,999 and is now being offered at Rs 1,899 (which is a discount of Rs 100 on the plan) valid till November 7 (2024).

This plan will include unlimited calls, 600GB data (no daily limit) and 100 free SMS per day.
