2 suspects arrested in Southeast Bakersfield homicide

Bakersfield police on Wednesday arrested an 18-year-old man and a juvenile on suspicion of murder in the Sunday shooting of a man in southeast Bakersfield.

According to a BPD press release, Lance Burnett and a juvenile boy, whose age has not been released, were arrested by robbery/homicide detectives with the assistance of the Bakersfield Police Department’s Special Unit and Criminal Apprehension Task Force.

The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of ​​South Washington Street and East Bell Terrace.
