Murder charges have been re-filed against a man accused of murder

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville police say charges have been refiled against a man accused of a 2023 murder.

According to EPD Sergeant Trudy Day, prosecutors have refiled the charges Michael Thomas after his original murder case was dismissed without prejudice in July 2023.

Thomas was arrested and charged with murder Patrick White after White’s disappearance in July 2022.

Thomas was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
