A man crashed into a Glendale pool on Halloween

A man was taken to the hospital as a precaution after a car crashed into a Glendale pool, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

At approximately 2 a.m. Thursday, Phoenix police responded to a collision near North 35th Avenue. According to the authorities, the car crashed into the fence of the apartment and ended up in the pool.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle and has not yet been publicly identified, was extricated and taken to the hospital as a “precautionary measure,” police said.

Authorities have not yet determined whether impairment played a role in the crash.
