New details on the fight at the Orangeburg County polling place

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — ABC Columbia has more information about a fight that broke out at a polling place in Orangeburg earlier this week.

A copy of the incident report filed by the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety was obtained.

It confirms that one of the precinct officers involved in the incident has been charged with assault for punching the man.

The incident report also confirms the controversy that started over the man’s “Let’s Go Brandon” hat.

The rules of the election commission prohibit anyone from carrying campaign materials in the polling station.
