The Department of Justice oversees legal voting practices in Miami-Dade and Broward counties

Department of Justice personnel will monitor compliance with federal civil rights laws in Broward and Miami-Dade counties during the Nov. 5 election.

The Justice Department reminds voters that they will enforce federal criminal laws that prohibit voter intimidation and suppression based on race, color, national origin, or religion.
