Essex Police is appealing for footage of the crash on the M11 near Harlow

A man suffered potentially serious injuries when his car reportedly crashed into a tree after it left the motorway and landed on its roof.

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened when a red Lexus LS430 left the M11 near Harlow at junction 7a southbound at around 11:10 GMT on Friday.

An ambulance was called, the driver was hospitalized.

A police spokesman said: “If you have any information or dashcam footage relating to this incident, please contact us.”
