I-471 is now closed from the river to I-275 in New York after a bridge fire

The Daniel Carter Byrd Bridge, including both sides of Interstate 471 over the Ohio River, closed Friday morning due to heavy fire.

As of 4:00 a.m., the bridge is likely to remain closed to traffic during peak hours.
