JEE Main 2025 registration is going on, check the list of documents required to apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the JEE Main 2025 January session at the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will need a valid email address and mobile number to register for JEE Main 2025. Candidates can check the application procedure, scanned documents to be uploaded and other important details below.

To fill the JEE Main 2025 application form, the candidate needs to upload the following documents with the specifications mentioned below.

1. Upload scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature, class X certificate or equivalent certificate/mark sheet and PwD/PwBD certificate (where applicable).

2. The latest passport-sized photograph must be in color and 80% of the face (without mask) must be visible on a white background, including the ears. The photo must be titled “Photography” in JPG/JPEG format (legible) between 10 and 300 KB in size.

3. The signature file must have the name “Signature” in JPG/JPEG format (legible) between 10 and 50 KB in size.

4. Scanned copy of Class X Certificate or equivalent certificate/mark sheet should be titled “Class X Certificate” and be in PDF format between 10 to 300 Kb (legible).

5. The scanned copy of the PwD/PwBD certificate should be titled “Certificate of Disability” and should be in pdf format between 10 to 300 Kb (legible).

How to Apply for JEE Main 2025?

Step 1: Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the main page, click on the link “JEE (Main) Online Application Form – 2025 Session-1”

Step 3: Now click on the New Registration tab and register with the required details

Step 4: Now login with system generated registration number and password and fill the application form

Step 5: Pay the fee and submit the application form

Step 6: Print the application form and keep it for future use

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025

JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 which is common for BE/Btech courses will consist of 75 questions carrying 300 marks. There will be 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in Section A and 15 Questions in Section B that can be answered using numerical values. Survey work will be conducted for 3 hours in CBT mode. Candidates should note that NTA has changed the JEE Main paper pattern to a pre-Covid-19 format and Section B now has only 5 questions, all of which are compulsory.

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2025 in two sessions — January and April. The JEE Main 2025 January exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from January 22 to January 31, 2025. JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages ​​including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia. , Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
