Two teenagers charged in more than 70 counts of armed carjacking in Prince George’s County: police

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a series of armed carjackings in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

A 16-year-old from Upper Marlborough and a 17-year-old from Langham, according to police. Both boys are charged as adults.

Police say the two teenagers are charged with nine counts — seven counts of armed carjacking, one count of attempted armed carjacking and one count of carjacking. The car thefts took place from June 4, 2024 to July 9, 2024. All of the cases occurred in the Bowie and Upper Marlborough areas.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with 43 counts of armed carjacking and related crimes. The 17-year-old suspect was charged with 31 counts of armed carjacking and related crimes.

The stolen cars have been recovered.
