DALRYMPLE-PHILIBERT pleads guilty in disorders of IC ACT | RJR News

The former Speaker of the House and a member of the Southern Trelaun Parliament Maris Dalrimp-Filibort on Friday pleaded guilty of violating the Law on Integrity Commission.

Mrs. Dalrimp-Filibort resigned as a speaker and a deputy of the Chamber in September 2023 after the decision of the Commission on Integrity, which was accused of making false statements about her legislative declarations.

Mrs. Dalrimp-Filibert lowered the Mercedes-Benz car from its documents, submitted to the Integrity Commission between 2015 and 2021.

She appeared before the parish court of Saint -Endrau on Friday morning, where she decided not to compete with some accusations, violated by the Integrity Commission in 2023.

This decision follows the previous moment raised by the lawyer of her lawyer King Peter Champanya, who in December 2024 was considered to be a parish judge, Judge Leniton Morris.

The former speaker of the ward was slapped with a fine of almost $ 1 million or ten days in prison.
