Family begs answers in Hush Lounge Shooting

Georgetown, County, Columbia (WCSC) – Georgetown County still insists just over a year after their beloved person has been shot dead in the Danbar community illegally.

So far, two people are faced with charges in connection with A struggle that led to shot shots in a bizarre hall.

Joshua Dreton, 22are accused of breaking peace exacerbated in nature and Ronne Rice, 39are accused of illegal possession of alcohol in the place of business.

However, the deputies of the Sheriff County Georgetown say that the shots shot, still there, leaving the mother of the victim of Courtney Holmes in tears.

“It’s devastating,” Holmes said. “I never thought I would lose my daughter.”

The night withdrawal with the siblings quickly turned to the tragedy for the victim of Ianla Strazhi Walker, 22 years old. Georgetown Sheriff’s Sheriff’s deputies claim that the patrons in the bar called The Hush Lounge in the Danbar community. More than one person is said to have a gun.

Deputies say that these balls hit Walker in her neck, and she later died in hospital.

Her aunt Jesse Walker remembers her positive light.

“Whatever she could do, she will do,” Walker said. “She had this trick, perseverance to live.”

Investigators soon found that Hush Lounge was an “illegally operated bar”, which led to the arrest of Rice. He has pleaded guilty of this accusation in October and has since been released from prison, the lawyer’s office reports.

“It’s illegal to run, but holes in the wall are part of our history,” Walker said. “… but they can open it somewhere else. So it’s still not justice. And I didn’t say it,” Leave it open and they continue to do whatever “because life last .

The lawyer’s office adds that Draton has made prison and no court date has been set.

The management of the Sheriff County Georgetown says the witnesses did not identify additional suspects.

“And I don’t say they use justification because the community is not talking and what do they do to make them talk?” said Walker. “It’s like:” They say nothing, so we’re going to slide this folder aside. “Another cold case.”

The family says they need answers that will lead to arrests, especially for two girls who left behind, which are both at least five years.

“To make them turn into a crime they did and serve their time,” Holmes said. “I mean you can’t turn my baby back but at least they get their time.”

And both women want to warn the community of danger if no one goes forward.

“If they take such a life without consciousness, they could take someone else’s life without conscience,” Holmes said.

“They are afraid to say something,” Walker said. “But if it were a member of your family, your daughter, granddaughter, niece, first cousin or friend, what would you do?”

The Sheriff’s office of Georgetown County says that if someone has any information about what happened in The Hush Lounge that night to contact them at 843-546-5102 immediately. The option is anonymous.
