Kate Beckinsale deletes Instagram account after months of harassment

Fans are surprised by the complete disappearance of Kate Beckinsale from social media.

Famously active on Instagram, the actress shares great looks from events, adorable photos of her pets and her feuds with her millions of fans.

But recently it appeared that she is no longer active on the Internet.

Her Instagram profile, which had 5.6 million followers, has been deleted, according to Internet sleuths.

The 51-year-old also deleted all her posts and changed her photo to block.

Since Kate is known to receive hateful words from trolls on the platform, the significant change immediately attracted attention and caused alarm.

She was bombarded with comments about how she looked and arguments that she was using ozempia to lose weight, all under the picture, which was quickly deleted.

One follower said they weren’t “criticising” her, saying they believed she had “lost too much weight”.

“If it’s not a criticism, it’s a passive-aggressive, completely unnecessary opinion from someone I don’t know, who doesn’t know anything about my circumstances,” Kate denied, expressing her opinion.

“So the next time you feel like commenting on someone’s body, I suggest you keep it to yourself.”

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Kate has felt compelled to speak out against online harassment.

When fans saw the change in her body shape last spring, they advised her to “eat something.”

This followed the passing of Kate’s stepfather, Roy Battersby, and while her mother was also dealing with health issues.
