Traitors fans have the same complaint about the explosive finale: “Mass mistake by the producers”

Betrayers viewers slammed the soggy twist for “ruining” the show when Charlotte and Frankie duked it out during Friday’s grand finale.

At the beginning of the episode, Frankie discovered that Charlotte was a traitor after she used her powers as a seer to reveal her identity.

What then ensued was an awkward battle of wills as Frankie and Charlotte went head to head to convince the others of their innocence and Charlotte turned the tables on her mate and accused her of betrayal.

And while it made for dramatic TV, viewers at home were not impressed by the change, commenting that the rule “ruined” the show, with the twist a “massive mistake” by the producers.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans didn’t hold back their opinions.

They wrote, “This seer thing is completely ruined.”

“Loved this series @the_traitors but I feel the power of the seer ruined the finale a bit – yes it added drama but it made the 2 horse race not the whole cast”

“The Seer ruined it for me this year, absolute nonsense”; “The Game Ruined by the Seer’s Rule.”

“Even if you didn’t believe Frankie, there’s no way you wouldn’t get rid of Charlotte anyway. The game was ruined.”

“Read the massive mistake of the producers. Ruined the whole game.”

Earlier in the episode, Frankie used the results to confirm that Charlotte was faithful, while the audience obviously knew Frankie would be shocked.

Opening the letter revealing Charlotte’s traitorous identity, Frankie broke down in tears as she exclaimed: “Oh my god. It is quite difficult. This is a shock to my heart.’

Charlotte then replied: ‘You understand it’s not leaving this room. The game is on.’

Realizing what she was up to, Frankie added, “Oh my God Charlotte. You’re going to say I’m a traitor aren’t you?

During the tense breakfast, the pair remained selective as they accused each other of lying.

As Charlotte left the room in tears, the two spent the day trying to prove their innocence to the rest of the verses, Jake, Leanne and Alexander.

In a heartfelt exchange in the kitchen, Frankie tried to convince Leanne of his faithful status as she said: “I’m a mummy. I know what this means to you and your boys. You survived. I swear to make my boys proud, I tell the truth.

As things got incredibly heated around the round table, Charlotte made one final attempt to throw her off her scent as she exclaimed: ‘I wouldn’t take her (Frankie) to the endgame. Oh my God’.

However, suspicions were raised about Alexander when the rest of the contestants wondered whether two traitors could still remain in the game.

Still, it was Charlotte’s game as all four contestants voted her out and she was kicked out.

Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown finally won Friday’s explosive final after an incredible third series.

Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Leanne, Alexander Dragonetti, Jake and Charlotte Berman were the five remaining contestants who made it through to the intense final.

But it was the faithful who succeeded in outgrowing the traitors and missing out on £94,600 in prize money.

In the most fiery round table, the faithful cast out the ultimate traitor of the series. But in yet another new twist, the “Welsh” business director failed to reveal her status when she left the castle.

He left the four remaining players considering whether there could be a final villain, with Alexander in particular suspected of being the next to be cast out.

But the game didn’t end there, as the final three also voted to be kicked out again in a different round of the endgame.

While Frankie decided to kick Jake out, Leanne and Jake then turned on Frankie as she became the final player to leave the castle, leaving Leanne and Jake victorious.
