Teenagers injured in a small lake will return home

GWINN, Mich. (WLUC) – All three teenagers injured last Friday M-35 Fatal car accident returned home.

The three teenagers, Tony Kreps, Adam Johnson and Trevor Koenig, are freshmen at Gwinn High School.

After the accident, they were all transported to the health care system – Marquette. Two of the three were then flown to a hospital in Milwaukee.

Now they are all home at last.

Rob Soering, Gwinn’s assistant principal of schools, says he doesn’t use the term “miracle” loosely, but the fact that the boys are home safely is no surprise.

“Understanding the list of injuries that they’re fighting back from and to have them discharged so soon — I don’t think that’s an understatement, it’s a miracle,” Soering said.

Can Drivs will be held Saturday from 11am to 2pm at Devooght General Store in Scandia and Modeltown Express in Gwinn. All proceeds go to the families of the victims.

Soyring says the families want to thank the community for All support.
