The attack of the Ukrainian drone caused fire on the Russian website; it is reported that the oil depot is on fire

KYIV. A Ukrainian drone strike sparked a fire late on January 17 in Russia’s Kaluga region, south of Moscow, and social media showed footage of what they said was an oil storage facility on fire.

The governor of the Kalusa region, Vladyslav Shapsha, reported in Telegram that an industrial facility was damaged in the city of Lyudinovo, but did not provide details.

In a video posted on unofficial Russian social media, fire engines can be seen racing towards a large fire near what they say is an oil depot in the city.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense units shot down Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region on the border for 35 minutes.

The Ukrainian military said that on January 16, at least three drones struck a Russian oil depot in the south of Russia’s Voronezh region, and on January 17, it said that its own air defenses shot down 33 of 50 drones launched by Russia. Reuters
