Neymar dropped a bombshell about Kylian Mbappe’s feelings after Lionel Messi joined PSG

Neymar made a stunning statement about the Real Madrid striker. Kylian Mbappe was jealous of Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.

The power trio of Neymar, Mbappe and Messi played together at PSG from 2021 to 2023.

Neymar spoke about life in the French capital in a podcast hosted by Brazil’s World Cup winner Romario. Here’s what he had to say about Mbappe Daily Mail.

“No, he (Mbappe) is not (annoying). I have my own things with him, we had a bit of a fight, but he was fundamental to us when he arrived. I used to call him the golden boy. I always played with him, Told him he would be one of the best. I always helped, he came to my place, we had lunch together, but after the arrival of Messi, he was a little jealous and did not want to share me with anyone, and then there were some fights, changes in behavior.”

It was previously claimed that Neymar and Mbappe had fallen out at the club, but the Brazilian did not elaborate on the altercation between him and the French forward in a podcast interview.

In the summer of 2023, Neymar left Paris Saint-Germain and joined Al Hilal of the Saudi Professional League for $92.5 million. That same summer, Messi moved to Inter Miami in the MLS following the expiration of his contract with the club.

Mbappe remained with PSG for the following campaign, helping the team win Ligue 1, the French Cup and the Champions Trophy.

He left PSG ahead of the 2024/25 season to join Real Madrid.
